Intelligence is innate.
You come to this life with a brain predetermined in it’s intelligence quotient. What happens as you grow through life, different ideas, beliefs and experiences prompt you to lock much of that intelligence away. You can consider it put in drawers and those drawer being closed, all access removed. This has the effect on your perception that your intelligence is lower than it actually is. In times of learning you may have the feeling that your intelligence is growing. It is not, you are merely opening some of those drawers and releasing that intelligence you brought with you at birth and previously locked away.
It is fair to say that it is rare for anyone to use even half of their innate intelligence.
On the other hand, wisdom is grown.
It is nourished and created through the thoughtful and humble way you learn from your experiences. Wisdom comes to those who seek it and can increase ad infinitum. It is grown through your willingness to see the world from a broader perspective and to walk in the shoes of others. Compassion, empathy and acceptance are fuel for building wisdom.
It is fair to say that wisdom is a goal of the soul.
Wisdom and intelligence are not correlated, nor are they even related. You can be high in intelligence and low in wisdom. The obverse is also true, you can be high in wisdom and low in intelligence. Because wisdom is something anyone can acquire, I have known 8 year olds that have more wisdom than 80 year olds.
Therefore, regardless of your perceived intelligence, you are not blocked from infinite wisdom. You are free to give up all resistance and barriers to wisdom and become a sage at any time. The choice is yours.
You can also have both. You get to decide.

Put everything into place; your thoughts, your feelings, and in particular, your beliefs.
